Talk:Avro Lancaster

I am not certain when the Lancasters finally passed out of service, but I lived near Rockcliffe Air Force Base in Ottawa, 1957-59, and there were still many there then. I was told the Geological Survey of Canada was using them, packed with geophysical instruments. I assume there were other bases as well. Sandy Harris 05:51, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
