Psychological operations [r]: Any form of communications, directed at a human audience, that influence the opinions, emotions, attitudes, or behavior of any group in order to benefit the interest of the sponsor. Psychological operations can and do take place at every level from grand strategy to tactics, from overt statements by government to tricky loudspeaker broadcasts to get barricaded opponents to leave their protected location.
