The National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) is part of the U.S. Office of the Director of National Intelligence. It was formed from the Central Intelligence Agency's Counterterrorism Center, but now has personnel from:

- Federal Bureau of Investigation
- U.S. Department of State
- Department of Agriculture
- Department of the Treasury
- U.S. Department of Defense
- National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency
- U.S. Department of Energy
- Nuclear Regulatory Commission
- U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
- US Capitol Police
- U.S. Department of Homeland Security
Its director is Michael Leiter.
