Literary reading is the reading of novels, short stories, plays, or poetry. The content may be in paper or electronic form. [1] Some studies use "books read" as a surrogate metric.
Literary activity is a superset of literary reading, including listening to recorded literary readings or attending live readings, and creative writing.
