The virtual Olympic Congress - the first step of a process leading to the Olympic Congress - will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark from 3 to 5 October 2009.

The general public are also welcome to contribute to the virtual Olympic Congress. Internet users can submit two contributions, that will be taken into account in 2009 in the framework of statistical trend analyses after the contribution collection phase. The main trends in the texts coming from the general public will be communicated on the International Olympic Committee web site in 2009 [1].
