Romeo and Juliet is one of Shakespeare's greatest tragedies. The story centers around two young lovers, both from feuding families, and the tragic events that befall them, which include deaths of other family members, deaths of friends, and ultimately the deaths of themselves.

The play has been adapted many times as a movie (both theatrical and for television), and for various incarnations as stage presentations.
