Barbara Fast is vice president of Cyber Solutions for Intelligence and Security Systems (I&SS), a division of Boeing Network and Space Systems. She is a retired major general, U.S. Army, whose last post was Deputy Director and Chief of Staff for the Army Capabilities Integration Center in the Training and Doctrine Command. Prior to that, she headed the Army Intelligence Center at Fort Huachucua, which is responsible for doctrinal development and training for Army intelligence personnel.

She was the senior intelligence officer in Multi-National Corps-Iraq and CJTF-7, but exonerated of involvement in the Abu Ghraib prison scandal. Her responsibilites were at the strategic level assisting LTG Ricardo Sanchez.

Fast is a graduate of the U.S. Army War College.
