Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791; full legal name Joannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus von[1] Mozart) was an eminent composer born at Salzburg. His main works are operas: Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni, and the Magic Flute.

Mozart created more than 600 musical compositions, the earliest when he was four.

Mozart died at Vienna.

Note

  1. He was knighted by the Pope at the age of 14, making him a nobleman as understood in continental law, entitled to the nobiliary pefix. Some letters written in his teens are signed "Chevalier de Mozart".
