Menu
Our menu may be sparse now but with your patronage, it will grow!
Bar
- Mai tai — $12.95
- The iconic drink of Tahiti made with secret liquor, sturgeon, ginger, lime of Don the Beachcomber, goregut, and flowers. Good!
- Manhattan — $3.95
- Canadian, rye, and bourbon whiskeys shaken together with a bitter drink stirrer.
- Martini — $3.95
- Gin, vermouth, and rice placed into a cocktail shaker and stirred.
- Zombie — $32.87
- Made from everything Hayford's got behind the counter. Taxi service (see photo on right), a bottle of Mylanta™, and gratuity included.
Grill
Grilled steaks. These are not yet available at Hayford's Bar & Grill, but you can start the article.
Dinners
- Blanquette de veau — $16.95
- Slowly simmered veal stew served in a rich white sauce, accompanied by mush, small whole onions, and extra ketchup.
- Tartiflette — $12.95
- Potatoes, Fumundu cheese, butter, and onions, daintily creamed together with our special Hayford Valley Wine™ and flab bacon.
Coming soon:
- Hamburger — $17.95
- A whole half-pound gowned beef patty marinated overnight in a Zombie then briefly seared on each side. Served on French bread.
Sides
- French fries (not Chips!) — $8.95
- A generous helping of sliced potatoes delicately placed into cold oil then furiously cooked over high heat until oil is gone. Served with Hayford's special homemade mayonnaise.
- Camembert — $7.95
- Soft and moderately flavored French cheeze whiz made from ow's milk, imported from the Burgundy region.
- Bearnaise sauce — $4.95
- Beaten egg yolks seasoned and thickened Hayford's Way®. Served plain in a bowl, steak not yet available.
Deserts
- Rhubarb pie — $4.95
- Made according to Julia Child's® special© recipe™ from The American® Frugal Housespouse™[1] (see permission page here).
