We will need these eventually, but is it good judgment to add them now.?

I don't see the difficulty, frankly. Someone wants to write an article about X, and X isn't as important as, say, a million other topics; well, you might regret that the author isn't spending his energy on something more important, but why actually discourage someone from writing about X? Letting people work on the topics they want to work on is precisely what makes the wiki system work so well. It borrowed that from bottom-up or "bazaar"-style OSS development. It's a good thing, I think. --Larry Sanger 22:49, 28 November 2006 (CST)
