I have completely rewritten this page because it was incomplete and, in some places, misleading (slightly incorrect statements because of sloppy formulation).

Congratualtions Mathematics Workgroup! Good to see things moving along again! D. Matt Innis 01:20, 7 May 2010 (UTC)

Google juice

This article is currently #2 in the Google search for "Neighbourhood (topology)" (with the quotes), and #3 — without the quotes and brackets. Boris Tsirelson 18:08, 24 May 2010 (UTC)

it is even #1 (and #2) with the quotes. But to avoid wrong conclusions: This was the same for some time before approval. (And it is only #56 with "neighbourhood mathematics". --Peter Schmitt 23:11, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
As for Bourbaki: This is an important reference (for Topology -- but it is only a partial preview), but not a suggested link for those who need more explanations. --Peter Schmitt 23:17, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
