  • Please follow the directions here exactly as described. You will otherwise create double work for other people and have to return to the image page anyway to fix it.
  • As soon as you are done uploading your image, the code to place it into your article will appear on the page! Just copy and paste it in.

1. Click "Browse...", locate the file on the your hard drive, and click on it. The name of the file will appear both where it says "Source filename" and "Destination filename".

2. Give your file a more descriptive name in "Destination filename" so people can find it when searching. Except for the file extension (e.g., .jpg), the "source filename" and "destination filename" do not have to be the same. For example: If the Source filename is Ww1-gas3.jpg, rename it WWI Art - Gassed - by John Singer Sargent.jpg in Destination filename.
