Everton F.C. is a football club competing in the English Premier League (EPL). Started in 1878, they are one of the found members of the English Football league. Though they have not won the title since 1987, they are historically one of the most successful clubs in England, with nine league titles. No other club has spent so long in the top division as Everton, they celebrated their 100th year of top flight football during the 2005/2006 season.
