There are dozens of similar diagrams to be found on the Internet but I liked this one. The students are no longer at the university and I could only locate the email of one of them. I emailed him for permission to use the diagram but received no reply. I also emailed the Mathematics Department of the Technical University of Denmark and asked if they could grant permission. I received this reply from Jens Gravesen, an Associate Professor in the Mathematics Department:

"The online publication in question was made by three students which are no longer at the university. I actually doubt that the diagram you want to use is made by the students, they have probably picked it up somewhere on the Internet."

Since I was not successful in contacting the students, I decided to start from scratch and re-draw their diagram with a color change and other changes. However, my version still strongly resembles the version by the three students.

In view of the above, I am uploading it under the "fair use" license and will also credit the three students for the diagram. Milton Beychok 14:56, 15 September 2008 (CDT)
