It does seem kind of odd that the first article on a baseball team is for a single-A Carolina League entry, but that is my area of greatest expertise. I will be attempting to rectify this in the near future by adding pages for each of the major leagues and then one for each of the teams starting with the A's (my favorite team) and working my way down to the Yankees - not just because they're my least favorite but because they would take the most work. Let me know if you will be attempting a team, and I'll skip over that one. Any help would be appreciated. Next on the to-do list will be to get pages for each active minor league and then to get through each active minor league team. Assuming I live for another 100 years or I get some help, I'll then try to address some other areas of interest I have.[[User:David E. Dalimonte|David E. Dalimonte]] 15:25, 21 April 2007 (CDT)
I became very disappointed in the very slow progress here in the Sports section. Besides a paragraph on baseball itself, mine is the only article on a baseball topic. There are only about 40 articles in the entire sports workgroup and yet the editors can't seem to find the time to give my article a look. Only four other articles in the sports workgroup lack an article checklist from an editor. Two of those are brief lists. I'm not sure why mine is one of the very few articles not to get even this minimum of attention from editors. It seems as though Citizendium is growing at a glacial pace, and that the only articles that get any attention or feedback are science and traditional history articles. I spent a lot of time and effort creating this article and see no reason why I should not share it with as many people as possible, so I incorporated as much as I could into the wikipedia article on the subject. Guess what? I'm getting help on the article, people add to it, people make comments and suggestions to improve it, people link to it. All the things I hoped would happen here. It's not sitting dead in the water like so many articles over here at citizendium. Good luck.

Citizendium

Good luck.
