WYA Talk:What's Your Article?
From Citizendium, the Citizens' Compendium
I'd love your comments: http://forum.citizendium.org/index.php/topic,1227.0.html --Larry Sanger 02:15, 23 September 2007 (CDT)
Re the "Signed Article" prospect in the proposal
Larry: You write: "But you can only write one article for this program. That is a firm rule. So make it your best. Everyone's best will be collected together in one place--right here. How well will your article stack up against the others?
"In time, as we get more and more editors on board, they will select the best of these articles to link to as "Signed Articles." This means your work might be held up as reference material and an official part of the Citizendium."
A point of clarification, apart from the "What's Your Article?" proposal: Editors may submit as many signed articles, as subpages of a main article, as they wish, and have them included in CZ upon Workgroup approval. Correct?
BTW: I like the idea of the program. Super idea. --Anthony.Sebastian (Talk) 15:54, 23 September 2007 (CDT)
Yes, that wouldn't be changed by the program proposal. Thanks for the feedback! --Larry Sanger 17:06, 23 September 2007 (CDT)
Why on hold?!
WYA is a great idea. I'd like to write an article under WYA. Is it possible? (I'll try and see what happens :-)
hierarchical organization of the article
I rushed. First let me ask:
- is it is allowed to compose a WYA article (on one topic) hierarchically as several files?
For a larger topic, like mine, this is a must. I can't write it as one flat file. Wlodzimierz Holsztynski 08:26, 10 January 2008 (CST)
