I am a 2nd year PhD student at Purdue University studying mass communication and health communication. I am particularly interested in the intersect of mass communication and health communication campaigns in the form of entertainment education. Currently, I am working on the following research projects: the perception of tanned individuals on MTV, Narrative persuasion and the sleeper effect: Does persuasion increase over time because audiences forget source information?, and the promotion of responsible drinking behaviors among young Marines.
