I'm an assistant professor of mathematics at Colorado State University. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in 1996, in the field of algebraic geometry. My research is primarily in algebraic geometry, although more recently, I've been studying geometric methods in data analysis as well. Outside of mathematics, interests include music, skiing, cooking and gardening.
