Article development

Just getting started here. The article probably needs more on the church's historical and current medical/charitable activities; how it came into conflict with "Sunday blue laws" in many U.S. states and cities (the recent scholarly book on the history of Sunday in America by Alexis McCrossen might contain some useful info on that); and on its history outside the U.S. (considering that that's where most of its members are now located). Also the racial and gender issues alluded to in the Ency. of Religion article cited on the main page. Bruce M. Tindall 22:52, 29 October 2010 (UTC)

Disclaimer

Not that it should matter if one writes objectively, but for the record, I am not a member of this church. Bruce M. Tindall 22:58, 29 October 2010 (UTC)
