Introduction

This sentence in the lead: "Certain aspects of the games are so well known as to have become emblematic of Scotland, such as the bagpipes, the kilt, and the heavy events, especially the caber toss." It is an inversion of reality. Kilts and bagpipes did not become emblematic of Scotland because of the games. They became part of the games because they were already emblematic of Scotland. Agreed. I will revise the text accordingly. James F. Perry 08:22, 19 June 2007 (CDT)

Good job

I just noticed this article, which looks great. (Because it's one of the only articles that links to my new fiddle article.) --Larry Sanger 12:04, 1 August 2007 (CDT)
