Jeffrey T. Richelson is a Senior Fellow at the National Security Archive, George Washington University, and author of numerous books on the United States intelligence community, especially its more technical aspects. At the Archive, he has also worked on U.S.-China relations, U.S. military space activities, and Presidential national security directives. He has taught at the University of Texas and the American University.

His articles have appeared in Scientific American, The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, The International Journal of Intelligence and Counterintelligence, International Security, Intelligence and National Security, and other publications.
