What are Advanced pages?

An Advanced subpage is one with content that will really only be useful for, or possibly even only intelligible to, specialists in the field.

Purpose

Placing the most advanced material about any given topic on the article's main page has proven confusing to Citizendium's ordinary readers (who are the bulk of those whom it is intended for). We do not want to leave such material out altogether, because Citizendium is supposed to be a place where experts can pass on their expertise. Therefore, it seems most appropriate to put such specialized material - which, after all, only a few readers will be interested in - on a subpage.
